Thunder for the Cause is a multi-purpose event, which honors our past and present military, and raises money for Childhelp and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Fund.
Our Goals are:
· To make this an annual nationwide event
· To give Rolling Thunder participants a relay station with a place to camp, relax, and enjoy a variety of live entertainment.
· To give our local residents a weekend of fun-filled events, without the expense of traveling.
· To raise money and awareness for Childhelp, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Fund.
To sum up the atmosphere for the weekend of May 24th- 26th:
“It’s a little bit Daytona, a little bit of Myrtle, a little bit of Sturgis, and whole lot of down-home fun here in the ‘BURG!”
The Southern Belles will be hosting the weekend’s events, and taping their reality TV show series.
